21.45 MWh Solar + Storage | Freetown, Massachusetts

This project integrates solar generation and battery storage to provide firm, dispatchable energy support. Developed on land left fallow after years of mining activity, the site was repurposed from disturbed industrial ground into productive renewable infrastructure. Beyond energy generation, the project supports long-term land stabilization through managed ground cover, reduced erosion, and improved ecosystem conditions, creating a healthier environment than what remained post-mining.

By converting a legacy extraction footprint into forward-looking infrastructure, this project strengthens grid reliability, enhances renewable energy utilization, and provides lasting environmental and economic value to the surrounding community.
